Free Super Kids Conference for Entire Family this Saturday

Come to a wonderful retreat for parents with keynote presenter, Angela Jackson, a loved Clinical Mental Health Counselor practicing in the Ogden valley for 21 years and seven years prior to that in Arizona. Her engaging personality and presentations have past audiences laughing, learning, and coming away with rejuvenated hope. Angela will be speaking on The Power of Play. Every family can use these amazing tips and uplifting empowerment to become closer and ultimately happier through play.

Event Outline and Instructions:

Park at the south end of McKay Dee Hospital and walk in the South Entrance. Walk left and left again up the Education Center wing.
  • Check in at the end of the hall in the Pre-Function Area and sign a quick media release if it's ok to take photos of your family.
  • Children with special needs and children 7 and younger will attend the Super Kids Class in the East Auditorium. Here, there will be a staff from Northern Utah Pediatrics and teen volunteers to welcome and engage children. Medical care will not be provided in this setting. Parents will be notified if medical needs arise or if children need assistance in the restroom. Please let staff know if children have specific special needs or allergies.
  • Older children, (ages 8-14) who have a sibling with special needs, will attend the Sib Shop in the West Auditorium. This is an amazing fun workshop filled with activities that increase confidence, team building, and support for sibs. Sib Shop is provided by Allies with Families, a wonderful organization which values strengthening families.
